A Company Created for AKI

RAIDAR Health LLC is a Clinical Decision Support (CDS) software and consulting service company positioned to support healthcare professionals implement information solutions. The company was originally founded to execute a licensing agreement with Cincinnati Children's Hospital of the Renal Angina Index (RAI), a risk assessment algorithm used in conjunction with a urinary biomarker, neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (uNGAL, Bioporto Diagnostics Inc.), to predict acute kidney injury (AKI) in pediatric patients recently admitted to the ICU. Preliminary results have demonstrated reduction in ICU LOS and improvements in survival through earlier and targeted continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) initiation. This coupled with our longstanding relationships with the AKI critical care community and our desire to serve our healthcare professional colleagues' patients and clinical research led to the launch of our company.
